Meeting Agenda

SCG Legal is excited to be hosting its 2021 San Francisco Meeting… in person!

Over a year ago, the worst pandemic of our lifetimes struck, affecting all of us. As the world begins to emerge from COVID-19, our member community needs to prepare for what the coming years will bring.

Our 2021 San Francisco Meeting will be unique, both in format and scope, with targeted content and networking opportunities that will help attorneys, as well as firms, navigate whatever the coming years may bring.

Highlights of the event will include a timely discussion of post-COVID-19 economic, scientific, and behavioral influences that will shape the legal landscape as well as a panel presentation on macroeconomic predictions for 2022, industry expectations and risks, and how the pandemic and vaccination efforts will impact the economy in Q4 2021 and beyond.

Over the course of two thoughtfully orchestrated days, numerous networking opportunities will surround dynamic, interactive subject matter experiences including:

  • In-House Counsel Roundtable
  • Managing Partners Panel
  • Employment Law Discussion
  • Cybersecurity/GDPR Outlook
  • Public Policy Updates
  • Bankruptcy and Insolvency Forecasts
  • Cannabis Industry Discussion

Event Health and Safety Information
Without question, the health and safety of event participants will be a top priority for SCG Legal. We are staying current with CDC and WHO guidance on ‘best practices’ for meetings of our size and will make adjustments on-site as needed to remain vigilant.

The InterContinental® Mark Hopkins San Francisco has engaged significant COVID safety precautions, including but not limited to preparing conference facilities to more than adequately accommodate health and social distancing needs, and we are working closely with Wellness 4 Humanity, a health care consultancy that can offer fast, on-site COVID tests if needed. For more details on the hotel’s health and safety protocols as well as additional information that may be helpful during your stay, click here.

Registration for this event is $1,395 per attendee and $195 per guest. For registrations of three or more individuals from one firm, please contact Diane Case for group discount details.

What’s Next? Virtual Follow-up Conferences and Regional Meetings!
Respecting the reality that not all of our network members will not be able to attend the 2021 San Francisco Meeting in person, SCG Legal has plans to record as many sessions as possible. This content will be used for virtual events during the balance of 2021.

In 2022, we plan to organize several in-person regional events as well as host our mid-year meeting in Lisbon in May and the Annual Meeting in Toronto in September.
