Fraser Trebilcock (US: Michigan) announced the Shareholders of Fraser Trebilcock, one of Michigan’s long-established full-service law firms, have re-elected Thaddeus Morgan as President of the firm. Shareholder Ryan Kauffman was re-elected as Vice President & Treasurer. Shareholder Jared Roberts was elected as Secretary.
Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe (US: Colorado) announced the appointment of Kelley Duke as Managing Director. Kelley, who has been an integral part of the firm’s leadership team for several years, takes on this expanded role, overseeing daily operations and helping drive continued growth and innovation at the firm.

Adler Pollock & Sheehan (US: Rhode Island) announced that as part of the Rhode Island Women Lawyers: Past, Present and Future series, The Rhode Island Bar Journal featured Nicole Benjamin in the November/December 2024 issue. The article, titled “Here’s what Rhode Island’s Mover and Shakers are Watching for This Year,” highlights influential figures in the region and their insights into what 2025 holds. Click HERE for the full article. Todd Amaral has been selected to join the Environmental Business Council of New England’s (EBC) Ascending Professionals Committee. The mission of the EBC Ascending Professionals Committee is to identify issues of concern to young (and new) environmental professionals. Issues include but are not limited to career and professional skills development, understanding existing and developing legislation and regulations, and networking. Additionally, Kathryn Windsor has been named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.
Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. (Israel) announced the firm has merged with Dr. Eyal Bressler’s office. Dr. Bressler is a world-renowned expert and committee chair in the international patent organization AIPPI; and his office is one of Israel’s leading firms in patents, trademarks, and intellectual property. Dr. Bressler will lead the new patents practice at APM & Co.
Carney Badley Spellman (US: Washington) announced the firm has elected Jason Anderson to its Board of Directors as Director-at-Large. Patrick Lamb has been elected as President and Managing Partner. Susan Schalla has been re-elected as the Director of Associates. Additionally, Haiyan Tao and Mark Lamb have been elected Shareholders. Haiyan specializes in business and corporate law, with a focus on startups, emerging businesses, and mergers and acquisitions. Mark’s practice centers on three primary areas: real estate & land use, business litigation & transactions, and First Amendment, campaign finance & election law.
Dunton Rainville (Canada: Quebec) announced Marie-Claude Jarry, Partner and Honorary Colonel of the Royal Canadian Hussars (Montreal), was awarded the King Charles III’s Coronation Medal by the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. The Honourable Manon Jeannotte presided over the ceremony, held in Montreal. The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a commemorative distinction awarded to Canadians who have distinguished themselves through their dedication and commitment to the well-being of Canadian society.
DSM Avocats à la Cour (Luxembourg) announced Mario Di Stefano, Managing Partner of DSM and Chairperson of AMCHAM’s Real Estate Committee, joined industry leaders and government officials to announce an initiative on affordable housing. Field Law (Canada: Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon) announced Don Blackett, KC, and Karen Wiwchar have joined their Canmore office. Don, a corporate, commercial, and real estate lawyer, brings a wealth of experience from his diverse legal career spanning multiple disciplines and international jurisdictions. Karen, a corporate and commercial lawyer, joins the team with extensive experience in corporate finance, securities, and business law, having held executive and legal leadership positions at national and global companies. Additionally, Mohit Malhotra has joined the Calgary office. Mohit’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and insurance law, helping businesses, insurers, and policyholders navigate a wide range of complex disputes.
Fraser Trebilcock (US: Michigan) announced it has received a First Tier ranking in Lansing in six practice areas by U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” in 2025. Those practice areas are: Administrative/Regulatory Law, Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Commercial Litigation, Environmental Law, Litigation – Labor and Employment, and Utilities Law. In addition to the First Tier ranking in six legal practice areas, Fraser Trebilcock has been named a Tier Two firm in Lansing for four practice areas, and has also been named a Tier Three firm in Lansing for four practice areas. The Tier Two areas are: Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law, Litigation – Insurance, Real Estate Law, and Trusts & Estates. The Tier Three areas are: Bet-the-Company Litigation, Corporate Law, Litigation – Construction, and Litigation– Environmental.
Harrang Long (US: Oregon) announced Kevin Jacoby has joined the firm as a shareholder. Kevin is an experienced regulatory and litigation attorney with deep experience representing clients in complex regulated industries such as cannabis, hemp, and bars and restaurants.
Richards, Layton & Finger (US: Delaware) announced Judge Kent Jordan, who served as a federal judge for more than two decades, including a tenure on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from 2006-25, has joined Richards, Layton & Finger as a director. He will practice in the Litigation Department’s Intellectual Property Group and act as a mediator and arbitrator of commercial disputes. Directors Lisa Schmidt and Doneene Damon have once again been chosen for the Delaware Business Times “Delaware 222” list. The list recognizes the state’s most impactful business, nonprofit, and civic leaders across a variety of industries, honoring those who are creating jobs, helping to shape the state’s public policy, or serving communities in need. The firm also announced it has once again topped the rankings in The Deal’s annual Delaware rankings of high-value M&A transactions, serving as counsel on the most deals valued at $100 million or more in 2024. The firm has held the #1 spot on the Delaware deal charts for 32 years running. The firm also climbed The Deal’s national bankruptcy chart, claiming the highest ranking of any Delaware-based firm at #15, alongside some of the largest law firms in the country.

Alan Rifkin – Entertainment and Sports; Arnold Weiner – Business Litigation; Celeste Bruce – Business Litigation; Barry Gogel – Business Litigation; Brad Rifkin – Government Relations; Stuart Cherry – Business Litigation; Madelaine Katz – Business Litigation; Michael Berman – E-Discovery; and Devon Harman – Business Litigation.
Robinson+Cole (US: Massachusetts) announced Danielle Andrews Long has been promoted to Partner. She handles litigation matters involving commercial, real estate, banking, and land use disputes. In addition, Danielle serves as chair of the firm’s Real Estate Litigation and Title Insurance Litigation teams. Jessica Bardi has been promoted to Counsel. Her practice concentrates on land use and environmental law and related litigation. Jessica counsels developers, landowners, businesses, and other organizations on local, state, and national land use and environmental regulations, and represents them in permitting for development projects.
Turner Padget (US: South Carolina) announced the elevation of Benjamin Calhoun as a shareholder. Calhoun is based in the firm’s Columbia office, where he is a member of the nationally recognized Workplace Law Group. He counsels employers throughout North Carolina and South Carolina on workers’ compensation matters.
